Easter Eggs and Affirmations

We have been inactive, but we have not given up here at!  Aside from the Eye Contact Experiment (which was a really awesome event we held down on the Indianapolis Circle in October 2016), we have been laying too low!

Yesterday, we decided to scatter some love with easter eggs.  We got a huge basket of plastic eggs, filled each one with words of affirmation, and we placed them on cars at our local hospital late last night.

We hope some family members, as well as staff, were greeted with kind words that remind them of their amazingness, and what a difference they make.

I think this could be a great new tradition for Easter… scatter love through eggs and affirmations!

Free Hugs

There are so many reasons to spread love.  The most obvious of them, it seems, is because it feels good.  It feels good to the sender, and it feels good to the receiver.

In our first event, a small group gathered on 11.1.15, and decided together to go out into the community and give free hugs.  Free hugs.  It was that simple.

We had no idea what to expect.  Would people be receptive?  It didn’t take long to discover that very, very few people will pass up the opportunity for a free hug.

“You made my day.”

“I can’t believe you are doing this just because.”

“I needed this hug, thank you.”

These, and many more comments, made our choice to give free hugs worth while.
